Rescue plan

All buildings in Finland must be equipped with an emergency and rescue plan for accidents and emergency situations. The building-specific emergency and rescue plans for TOAS housing locations can be found on their respective page on this site.

The emergency and rescue plan contains information and examples on what to do in different emergencies, how their possible impacts can be alleviated and what preventive measures can be taken. It is important to know what your building’s rescue routes (which must be kept clear at all times) and emergency meeting points are.

Each building is also equipped with an emergency kit, which contains emergency materials (e.g. iodine tables) that will be distributed to all apartments if and when necessary.
