Final inspection

When a tenant moves out, TOAS will conduct a final inspection of the apartment. During the inspection the general condition and overall cleanliness, fixed equipment and fixtures, electrical kitchen appliances, lights and light bulbs, sockets and other fixed equipment in the apartment will be checked, and they must be found clean and in their respective places. If the apartment is found to be in gross disorder and unduly messy, TOAS is entitled to have the apartment cleaned at the expense of the tenant who is moving out. The House Managers conduct advance inspections on the 15th–31st days of the month of giving notice (the month before moving out) on weekdays (Mon–Fri) between 9.00 am–3.30 pm. The tenant will not be notified of the time and date of the inspection. If the tenant wishes to be present in the apartment during the inspection, s/he must notify the House Managers of this in advance.
