How to make a complain about nuisance
1. Contact the person causing the nuisance and tell them that they have caused you disturbance. It may be that the originator is not aware that they are causing disturbance through their actions. It is the responsibility of all tenants and their guests not to cause any disturbance at any areas of the property, whether indoors or outdoors.
2. When a situation appears threatening or may end up in a serious situation it is imperative that the police are contacted immediately. Call number 112.
3. If the disturbing behaviour is continuous/repeated, contact the other neighbours and write a formal complaint complete with signatures, and send it to the landlord. It is important to hear as many neighbours/tenants as possible.
4. It is possible that the landlord will break a tenant's contract once an initial warning has been given.
Tenants that feel that their neighbours are causing undue disturbance or otherwise breaking rules and regulations in their property, in the common areas or on the grounds should contact the originator directly to notify that their actions are causing an annoyance. If the disturbances continue and a discussion with other tenants is unable to bring the occurrences to an end, it is possible for the tenants to write a formal complaint to the landlord. The signatories of the complaint should be all those affected by the disturbances. The landlord may give the tenant a warning of termination of contract. This must, however, be based on clear evidence of the causing of nuisance or other reasons for a termination.
