Kitchen types in TOAS apartments

Here you can find explanations for the various kitchen types there are in TOAS apartments:

Kitchenette(keittokomero, kk):

Kitchenette has all the usual kitchen appliances (unless mentioned): stove, oven, sink, cooker hood and refrigerator.
Kitchenette is usually smaller than a normal kitchen.

Small kitchen/Mini kitchen(minikeittiö):

Small kitchen has a small stove with usually two cookers, small sink, cooker hood and a small refrigerator. There is no oven in small kitchens.

Kitchen/Living room(tupakeittö, tk):

Kitchen/Living room is a living room which has kitchen appliaces in the same space, without any walls separating the kitchen from the living room area.
This kitchen type has all the normal kitchen appliances(unless mentioned): stove, oven, sink, cooker hood and refrigerator.

Cooking place(keittotila, kt):

Cooking place is a same type of kitchen as kitchen/living room, except cooking place is in a smaller space or it has fewer cupboards.

Kitchen(keittiö):

Kitchen is usually an own room, or it has at least a partial wall separating the kitchen from the living room. Kitchen has all the normal appliances (unless mentioned): stove, oven, sink, cooker hood and refrigerator.

Common/Shared kitchen(kerroskeittiö):

Common kitchen is meant for the common use of tenants (who don't have an own kitchen in their rooms/apartments) living in the same floor.
Common kitchen usually has stove, oven, sink, cooker hood and refrigerators for common use.

Please note that blueprints of kitchens are meant to point out the differences between kitchen types and doesn't mean that the kitchen type mentioned is always as seen on these blueprints.
