TOAS – Part of student life

TOAS is part of the student culture in Tampere, providing high-quality and student-friendly homes for the entire period of study. TOAS homes are located in the city centre close to educational institutions.

Pioneer in housing

TOAS wants to pioneer the development of new housing-related services. TOAS homes offer fast Internet access and great opportunities for physical exercise. Its operational goal is to facilitate students’ lives and housing. All living services are available to our tenants under one contract.

Expert in housing

In addition to renting student flats, TOAS is responsible for the building and maintenance of its sites. We are constantly building homes to match student needs and we are responsible for maintaining more than 5,000 student flats.

Since 1959

The Tampere Student Housing Foundation (TOAS) was established in 1959. It’s been now almost 50 years since the first site, Vanha Domus, was built. During this period the Foundation has been part of many students’ first steps in independent living. Nowadays, TOAS has about 5,000 student flats in Tampere.
