Hervanta
Hervanta is a dynamic neighbourhood with excellent services and approximately 30,000 inhabitants. With its shopping centre, supermarket, church, library, cinema, restaurants and pubs, it is almost a city in itself. Hervanta also provides facilities for a variety of sports activities, including a swimming hall, ice rink, venue for ball games, gym, ski slope and well-lit jogging paths.
Both the Tampere University of Technology and the Technology Centre Hermia are located in Hervanta. Public transport between the city centre with all its services and educational institutions and Hervanta is efficient and only takes approximately 15-25 minutes.
